I highly reccomend keeping any collection and then selling your collection by breaking it into sections if it's big. And if your old (not trying to be mean or rude to anyone I mean like 80) you should sell it, but if your younger than 40 you should wait like 10 year if you wanna get a high price for your collection. If anyone wants to ask Barbie Collectors from around the world they can join neopets here: and then join this great club about barbie collecting

As a Barbie collector since I was a child, I can tell you a definite - maybe. It all depends on the dolls - truly collectible Barbie dolls are generally before 1972. Dolls made after this were either not as high in quality or were made in enormous quantities. There are some "collector" (not for children) Barbies that are worth more, but I have a feeling these are not the ones you are asking about. Check the listings on eBay or check out some of the Barbie forums such as "In the Pink" or "Pink Parlor".

They are totally worth keeping. Especially if they are rares, meaning Gold Label or Platinum Label.

if you keep anything long enough it would become a collectible look at some of those old barbies there worth thousands but the problem is you have to keep something for a long long long time for it to be worth anything.
